Drinking Coffee Reduces The Risk of Contracting Coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic left the entire globe in a lot of stress in all the available ways. The people are in the hunt for healthy options and are health conscious now,. The scientists after conducting a detailed research say that all those who are having a cup of coffee on a regular basis may reduce the chances of getting contracted to coronavirus. The study was conducted by the Northwestern University and it said that people consuming one or more cups of coffee per day have 10 percent less chance of getting infected to coronavirus when compared to those who never consume coffee.

The consumption of coffee correlates with inflammatory biomarkers like CRP, interleukin-6 (IL-6) along with tumor necrosis factor I (TNF-I). All these are associated with the severity and mortality of coronavirus. The study also concluded that the consumption of coffee will reduce the risk of pneumonia. The results are drawn after analyzing the records of 40,000 people among the British adults in the UK Biobank. Apart from the diet, their consumption of coffee is analyzed. Consuming more amounts of vegetables and consuming fewer amounts of meat will cut down the chance of tested positive for coronavirus. The researchers and health experts have always suggested the usage of green leafy vegetables ever since the pandemic of coronavirus started.
